Assessment in Therapeutic Recreation

Conducting thorough and detailed assessments is foundational to your ability to provide high-quality, person-centred therapeutic recreation services. Upon completing this course, you will have a deeper understanding of why we conduct assessments and learn skills to ensure your assessments provide you with the necessary information for person-centred and relational care.

Learning Objectives:

1. Participants will be able to identify the criteria for selecting suitable assessments. 
2. Participants will understand the components of standardized assessment tools and know where to access assessment tools and resources. 
3. Participants will learn how to contribute to, and interpret results from, the RAI-MDS as part of an interdisciplinary team.
