Cultivating Potential – Gardening Program

There is increasing evidence that exposure to plants and green space and particularly to gardening is beneficial to mental and physical health.
Goals:
  • Decrease or eliminate agitation and/or anxiety

  • Decrease or eliminate symptoms of depression
  • Increase mood and well-being

Gratitude Journaling

A program where residents/clients customize their own journal cover and learn how to and benefits of gratitude journalling.

Art Cart

A creative art program that provides opportunities for: creative expression, choice, increased sense of agency, decreased stress and anxiety, improved mood and overall well-being, maintenance of fine motor skills, concentration, and focus.
